A few years ago I found in a magazine a fantastic holiday place in Umbria, Italy:
a nice villa with a lot of privacy, space and green surroundings.

But, the owner lived nearby. How nearby, was our question because we really like our privacy and space during our holiday. I put the advertissement of this beautiful place aside but I always thought of it and was still curious how it would be.

In summer 2007 we finally decided to go. From that moment on we have returned to Villa Cerqualto at least 4 times. We took a lot of friends and family with us, because we wanted to see them and experience this stunning place on earth.

All parts of the house; the bedrooms, the kitchen, the barbeque place, the swimming pool, the terrace at the house; all has been made and decorated with love and care by its owner, Stephanie. She will be there for you if necessary but will leave you alone as you like.

So you have the good things/service of a land lady and the privacy you wish. The view of all sides of the house and garden are amazing; mountains, little villages, green valleys with all kinds of beautiful light of the Umbrian sun. You feel the peacefull quietness around you.

All accommodations you need are there; 3 spacy bathrooms, dishwasher, big refrigerator, washing machine, very nice swimming pool with good chairs, a lot of sitting places all over the garden. We will return to Villa Cerqualto, that’s for sure.
