Villa Cerqualto With Kidsa
Reaching the Villa was somewhat challenging but with decent instructions from Stephanie we managed pretty smoothly… During the stay it rained couple of days which actually made the road difficult to drive (even to Finns, who are used to gravel…). Our “quick” shorcut trip to Citta del Pieve ended up to real off-road challenge with rental car.
The house was clean and pictures on the web site gave good understanding what to expect. There are steep stairs and floors are hard, so one need to be careful with kids, but no major problems whatsoever. Swimming pool is not just beside the house, which was good for security perspective.
Stephanie was a very kind host and gave us good hints what to do and where to go. Our kids liked her (and her dog:-) a lot We had a home-cooked meal when we arrived and once real dinner during the stay, which were worth of the money spent.
We made short visits to villages and cities nearby (Orvieto and Montalcino to name a few). Location in convenient and day trips worked nice also with small kids.
This was our second trip to Tuscany/Umbria but definitely not the last.
