Wonderful Holiday at the Villa Cerqualto

My husband and I recently spent two wonderful weeks at this lovely villa. Set on a quite hillside close to the boarder of Umbria and Toscana, the villa is a great place to relax, enjoy nature at its best and have a real home away from home to set out on the many adventures to be had in this region. Multiple Italian hill towns are easy to reach and if you want to spend the day in Rome or Florence and do not want to drive, the train station is very close by.Stephanie is a grand host. She was so helpful in pointing us in the right direction to dine, to shop and to have great cappuccino. We loved visiting with her.The villa itself is beautiful and a picture of what an Italian farmhouse villa would look like. The views from every window are magnificent, the beds are very comfortable, and the fireplaces are perfect to warm up those chilly evenings. The villa is very roomy, very clean and well stocked for in house cooking or if you would prefer a cook, Anna is a great one.We would love to return to Villa Cerqualto for an even longer period of time and we highly recommend it anyone…… but especially those who want to discover Italy outside of the tourist spots, those that are romantics at heart and to those looking to rejuvenate their souls.Ciao…Safe and Happy travels!
